iOS can download and install updates without the need to connect to iTunes; this is known as Over-the-Air (OTA) updating.
When you have an OTA update waiting for you, your Settings app typically gets a red badge and iOS will constantly nag you about software updates. The thing is, not everyone always wants to install Apple’s updates.
In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to stop auto downloads of IOS updates on your iPhone or iPad.
1. Open Safari, Click Here
2. Click Allow, Install “tvOS 10 beta Software Profile” and reboot your iPhone.
3. After rebooting , your will see a “Feedback” icon, you can ignore it and put it in a folder.
The purpose of this link is for Apple TV4 users, don’t worry your iPhone or iPad won’t install any TV OS although you had installed the profile.
Now your iPhone will not check update anymore.
If you want to turn back OTA update, find “General”--“Settings”,and “Delete” the file on your profile page.
