How to Block ADS without any Plugin

One of the main reasons that so many people like Firefox or Chrome is because there are thousands of add-ons available that you can use to customize your browser experience. And one of the most popular add-ons for Firefox and Chrome is AdBlock.

AdBlock blocks the advertisements on websites and lets you browse distraction free. Quite a few people don’t make the switch to alternative browsers because none of them can support AdBlock. That said, you can still block display ads using most of the popular browsers so let us see how you can block ads without any plugin like Adblock. You wont see ads on YouTube Videos, Twitch Streams, Skype, Chrome, Edge, Opera or anything that uses ads. This helps for browsers that are really good, but don’t support add-ons yet.

 

How to Block ADS without any Plugin

 

1.First, you need to go this Directory      C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc  find the hosts file  by default its                    set to   read only

2. Right-Click on it, click properties, then un-check Read-only

3. After you’ve done that, click on the hosts file, then open it with Notepad

4. Delete everything in there, then go to https://raw.githubus…en…ster/hosts
And Copy+Paste everything into the hosts file you just cleared out.

Save it
